Frigidaire FFRE0533S1 is a 5000 BTU 115V window-mounted type compact air conditioner with a remote control. You can either get this Amazon Renewed version or the original brand new model via Amazon.com.
There is obviously a price difference but not significant, roughly 35 dollars at the time of this review. Having said that the Amazon Renewed version looks no different to the brand new and works 100% like it. They are inspected and tested by the qualified suppliers and you also get a 90 day warranty by Amazon Renewed. You have the right for a replacement or a refund within 90 days in case of defects etc. Only the accessories included and the box they put the air conditioner in may be white or brown generic.
The energy efficiency ratio- EER was specified as 12.2 by the 2016 Energy Star rating. And the estimated annual energy cost is 37 dollars, but this will obviously depend on how much you use it and your utility rates. This mini air con with a 5000 BTU cooling power also offers a dehumidification rate of as much as 1.1 pints per hour. It is suitable for rooms up to 150 sq ft and will cool the interior quickly. As an Energy Star certified cooler it has a low energy consumption that also holds the UL/CUL safety certifications and is safe to use.
It uses lower power during the start up and the overall operation and helps conserve energy and save on your energy bills.
