With a modern compressor it works quietly at a noise level of 36 decibels and uses up less energy with a 5-star Energy Star rating. The temperature can be adjusted between 41 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit through the digital LCD control panel and there is an automatic precise humidity control. So you have the Temperature Up and Down, Light, Fahrenheit / Celsius converter and On/Off buttons. Just by touching the digital LCD-backlit control panel you can customise the temperature for your white, red or rose wines.
Skanwen Wine Cooler has a glossy stainless steel finish and a freestanding design with the front ventilation. It weighs 86.8 pounds and measures 15 x 23 x 33.3 inches for a 3.5 cubic feet internal capacity. The door hinge is located on the right and the door opens from the left to the right. There are six real oak shelves that slide out smoothly when you wish to get your wine bottles in or out. It has the double tempered glass door, hollow layer and 3-layer barrier from light for decent insulation inside and for better protection from the harmful UV- ultraviolet rays that could potentially damage your wine.
This sleek and modern wine fridge will offer an ideal environment for the long term storage and ageing of these wine bottles. With the soft energy saving blue LED lights your wine bottles will be nicely illuminated without the wine flavours affected or the labels on the bottles faded unlike with the glaring fluorescent bulbs. The 30 bottle capacity on six shelves is for the standard 750ml Bordeaux shaped bottles. And for the larger or different shaped bottles like sparkling or Champagne you can remove a shelf or two. But this way you will have a lower bottle capacity. Please note that you can set up and use this bottle both as built-in under the kitchen or freestanding. It will fit your furniture in the kitchen or bar area nicely with its stainless steel seamless door and double layer tempered glass door.
