Whynter 8.3 cu.ft. Upright Freezer/Fridge, UDF-0831SS
Whynter UDF-0831SS is an 8.3 cubic feet capacity, stainless steel, digital, upright, freestanding style, convertible deep freezer/fridge. It first appeared at Amazon.com in June 2020 and doesn’t have any customer product reviews at the time of this post release.
Silver Whynter Fridge Freezer weighs 124 pounds and measures 23.4 x 24.9 x 67.8 inches. With an advanced convertible design it changes from a fridge to a freezer and vice-versa easily. It freezes your items quickly and stays at the set temperature consistently. You can cool quite a few warm items down to -11 degrees Fahrenheit (-24°C) with the Quick Freeze mode.
There will not be any ice build-up and you will not need to do any manual defrosting by emptying the freezer contents, thanks to a convenient frost-free design. You have plenty of storage space in this fridge freezer with a space saving upright design. It weighs 123.5 pounds, measures 23.4W x 24.9D x 67.8H inches and comes in a package of 25.9W x 27.1D x 70.4H inches. You will need about two inches of clearance on both sides and at the rear of this freestanding fridge freezer.
It even comes with the wheel rollers underneath for you to move it when you need to. There are 6 sliding shelves and a storage basket at the bottom to give you a bit of versatility when you have larger items that you want to put in or you want to organize your foods properly to be able to find them easily. It has a 130W powerful fan-circulated R600a compressor (115V/ 60Hz and 2.0A) that offers very efficient distribution of cool or cold air and precise airflow.
The noise level is specified as a maximum of 42 decibels when it is doing the cycles. The temperature can be adjusted between -11 and +10 degrees Fahrenheit (-23°C – -12°C) in the freezer mode and between 35 and 46 degrees in the fridge mode (2°C – 8°C). There is a LED temp display in the middle that you see in the photo. Please read the instructions before starting to use the fridge freezer to get the best results. It is important that you let it sit in an upright position for up to 24 hours before plugging it in, like with any compressor type coolers. As an Energy Star rated convertible fridge freezer it consumes less power than similar size products on the market. As a UL approved and listed product it is safe to use.
