Cosmo 668ICS900 is a large 36-inch size, 900 CFM, number one new release, luxurious cooker extractor ducted and ductless island range hood with a three speed exhaust, fan timer, a stainless steel permanent filter, a glass ceiling chimney stove vent, an LCD touch display and a digital clock.
Cosmo Range Hood is rated 4.5 out of 5 stars by three customers at the time of this review as a very new release range hood. It has a beautiful Euro- Italian design that will blend smoothly with your other stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. You may purchase a separate carbon filter kit (CFK1-RS) for ventless ductless recirculation.
The powerful 900 CFM single centrifugal motor (315W) offers three speeds to ventilate the kitchen without making much less noise (65 decibels) than other competing brands. It is designed for use in North America with 120V of voltage and 60Hz frequency, 1.8 amperes and three prong plug. 6-inch size round shaped duct is needed for this range hood. Commercial 430-grade, 20 gauge brushed stainless steel is used on this unit, is great quality and looks and feels premium.
Cosmo is an island mounted, top vent and ducted installation type range hood. With the three-speed touch function you can change the ventilation speed very easily. There are four integrated bright and environmentally friendly high lumen LED lights underneath to let you see whatever you’re cooking very easily. The permanent arc flow stainless steel baffle filters included for ductless operation help trap the oil and grease and they are safe to be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The Cosmo 668ICS900 weighs 53.9 pounds and measures 23.6 x 36 x 47.6 inches. It has a beautiful Italian design, looks sophisticated and very modern to be a nice addition to any kitchen decor, with its reflective stainless steel exterior and a tempered glass visor. You don’t need to change the stainless steel filters included as you can just put them in the dishwasher when needed.
The 315-watt power range hood is energy efficient with the high lumen LED lights to help you save on your energy bills. It works well over the 36-inch size island cooktops and looks pretty nice. It is a very nice and modern looking range hood that works very nicely for exhausting- great suction and great lighting. You can put it together in just an hour or two when you take it out of its box. It is not a low cost range hood but is good value and we highly recommend it if you have the budget. They have a customer support service based in the United States and the warranty offered is limited five years for parts and labor.
