SmartRun 26 lb. Portable Countertop Ice Maker
Silver SmartRun Portable Ice Maker is a countertop style unit with a 26 lb. per day ice making capacity. It will get 9 solid ice cubes in just 7 to 9 minutes for your drinks or other ice needs. It is very easy to use with just two buttons- On/Off and Select.
You can choose your ice cube size between S-small or L-large. It comes with a convenient ice scoop and a 1.5-pound basket to collect the ice cubes and transfer into your drinks or freezer. The bullet shaped ice cubes it makes are chewable and tasty. The small cube measures 0.8″ x 1″ will fit into the opening of a drink bottle and the larger cube (1″ x 1″) would be good for your mixed drinks.
Smartrun Ice Maker is compact and portable, weighs 17.86 pounds, measures 14.8 x 14.6 x 8.4 inches and is ideal for use in boats, RVs, bars, home kitchens, backyards or wherever you see fit. You need to transfer the ice by using the basket and the scoop into your fridge freezer if you will not use them straight away. Because they will start melting after a little while, depending on the room temperature, even though the insulation is fine.
It works relatively quietly at a noise level of less than 43 decibels, which is like the noise of a standard modern fridge. It includes an advanced infrared sensing technology to help with the energy saving. The indicator lights will tell you when the ice basket is full of ice cubes or when you need to add water into the 2.2L capacity water tank. The machine will stop working automatically and help you save on energy. You need to put some water in and press the Power button and select the cube size for the machine to start making ice.
You can see the ice making progress through the transparent lid. The stopper at the bottom of the machine is good for discharging the unused water and easier cleaning. You can use the ice cubes for cooling your drinks, making ice packs and keeping the food fresh. There is no need for plumbing or draining access installation as you’ll find a drain 
plug at the bottom. You can easily clean- rinse and wash the ice maker after you’re done with ice making or whenever you need to clean it.
It is a good value ice making product with a sleek and modern design and a decent power compressor for making ice cubes quickly and efficiently. Please note that this is a compressor type cooler and needs to be left in an upright position for 4 hours before plugging it in and using it.
