Cuisinart CWC-1800TS 18-Bottle Private Reserve Wine Cellar Review

Cuisinart 18-Bottle Private Reserve Wine Cellar, CWC-1800TS

Black Cuisinart CWC-1800TS is an 18-bottle capacity private recerve wine cellar cooler with a slim upright design with two wine bottles on each of its nine shelves. It is an efficient thermoelectric cooler that works quietly (no compressor cycles) and without consuming much power (not a burden on energy bills).

The average customer rating is 5 out of 5 stars at Amazon.com by only a couple of users at the moment, this being a very recent release wine cellar. You have two other options on the same product page, to get it as 8-bottle CWC-800 in a compact design with a brushed stainless steel finish or 16-bottle CWC-1600 versions. And you have four chrome contoured racks in both of these wine cooler models.

You can adjust the temperature that is displayed in Fahrenheit and turn on or off the interior light with the touchscreen controls. There are 9 contoured chrome racks for your regular Bordeaux style 750ml or 1.5L bottles. And the warm, natural wood trim that you see on the shelves add to its nice appearance. It has the adjustable feet underneath at the bottom and the designer stainless steel trim on the outside.

You can put up to 18 bottles of red, white or Champagne (sparkling wine) in the CWC-1800T and keep them at their optimal temperatures. The contents are seen easily through the double-pane viewing window. With the stainless steel trim around the door and the natural wood shelves will make it look nice even in the nicest parts of the very modern houses. You can set the temperature between 39 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit. And even though the thermoelectric coolers do not work like the compressor type coolers, this will hold the temperature you set relatively well, and without using much energy. The internal temperatures rely on the ambient temperature, in the case of thermoeletric coolers.

Cuisinart CWC-1800TS weighs 53.2 pounds and measures 13.5 x 23.5 x 43.5 inches. You can put it in a corner of your kitchen or living room, will blend very nicely with the decor thanks to its very modern design. The vertical slim line design of this Cuisinart Wine Cooler is great for the limited, tight spaces. It has a blue LCD-backit temp display on the control panel and the soft blue LED light inside help showcase your bottles beautifully. It is offered with a limited three years of warranty by the manufacturer. Judging by the customer reviews it seems to look and work just like advertised. And you do not have to put up with the noise of a compressor making cycles. Overall you seem to be getting decent value for the dollar and we’re happ to recommend one of these three model on the page.
