Exerpeutic 4208 Bluetooth Indoor Cycling Bike
Exerpeutic 4208 by Paradigm Health and Wellness inc. is a modern, compact indoor cycling bike with a belt drive, a 17.6 lb. flywheel, the Bluetooth function and free MyCloudFitness application. It doesn’t come with an LCD display panel but with a large device holder that can accommodate smart phone or tablets that are up to 7.9″ wide.
The total user weight capacity is 220 pounds and people that are between 5’0″ and 6’1″ height can use it without problems. It feels comfortable overall with the large padded seat that can be adjusted four ways (up, down, forward, back) and the foam padded multi-grip handlebar that can be adjusted for height- up and down. It has the large leather strap-on chromed flywheel for resistance that can be adjusted through the dial tension in the center, which also works as a push-down emergency brake if you can’t stop the bike by normal means.
You do not have the control panel but with the Bluetooth technology and the MyCloudFitness application that you can download on the iOS and Android devices, you can view your current speed, distance traveled, time exercised, calories burned and rpm. There is no pulse rate reading and no sensors on the handlebars. With the MCF scenic exercise videos you can cycle outdoors without leaving your house. You’ll find many workout videos by well-known personal trainers and get customizable programs. The scenic routes and the personalized workout programs on the MyCloudFitness App are free for the first 30 days. You can set your workout goal according to distance, calories and time.
Exerpeutic 4208 weighs 61.5 pounds and measures 45.5 x 18.5 x 46.5 inches. It is a sturdy and durable bike that lets you stand up and pedal, like having an uphill road experience. The 17.6-pound cast iron chromed flywheel offers a smooth and quiet pedaling experience consistently. And it creates a consistent momentum with the solid 3-piece crank system. You can pedal in both directions- forward and back. It doesn’t have a folding design but has the transport wheels to help with the easy relocation.
Your bike will be level on different surfaces thanks to the adjustable floor stabilizers underneath. The pedals are made of aluminum alloy and have the secure toe cages to keep your feet in place for smooth motion consistently. The saddle is quite comfortable over longer riding sessions and you will not need to change it unlike with other similar bikes. It would work well in small spaces. You’ll get the assembly tools and instructions included in the package and it is not hard to put its pieces together in just 20 minutes or so as most of it is shipped pre-assembled anyway. The warranty offered is one year for the frame and 90 days for the parts. It was released in September, 2020 and there aren’t any customer reviews at Amazon.com yet, despite being a hot new release among indoor cycling bikes.
