Stainless Steel Ivation Premium IV-FWCT081-HWSS is an 8 Bottle capacity compact, freestanding countertop style, horizontal thermoelectric wine cooler with a digital temperature display for your red and white bottles.
As a modern thermoelectric chiller without a compressor it runs super quietly. You can purchase the same model in vertical design (IV-FWCT081WSS) or black color. Black also has the vertical (IV-FWCT081B) and horizontal (IV-FWCT081HB) versions. They will help preserve the taste, rich flavors and quality of your wines in the short and long run and let them age consistently and gracefully.
Your bottles are given the ideal environment with the right stable temperature of around 55 degrees Fahrenheit. The adjustable temperature range on this wine cooler is 46° to 64°F (8° – 18°C). The interior has the CFC-free solid polyurethane heavy foam insulation and shut with thermopane glass door that is tempered and smoked, with the stainless steel trim to keep stable humidity in an odorless environment.
The wine corks will not dry out and more air will not get into your wine. The smoked tempered door will keep it darker inside and keep the harmful ultraviolet rays out that may destroy the molecules that make the flavors in aged wine bottles. This efficient 65-watt thermoelectric cooler without a compressor doing cycles, runs very quietly and without any vibrations that could disturb the natural sediments in your bottles. The horizontal Ivation Wine Cooler weighs 19.18 pounds and measures 16.14 x 19.5 x 10.63 inches, with a 7H x 14W x 12D interior. The vertical cooler is 19.6 pounds and 9.9 x 19.7 x 17.7 inches. This thermoelectric unit is not suitable for use in garages or basements where the larger temp ranges in winter and summer will make it run more often and affecting its durability. The ventilation is located at the rear and you need about 3 inches of clearance. Please note that the door is not reversible to open from either direction and doesn’t have a lock. It is not a cheap wine cooler for a compact 8-bottle capacity but you’re getting what you pay for.
