Stainless steel Toshiba EC042A5C-SS is a late 2017 release 1.5 cubic feet capacity fully featured traditional convection and microwave oven with a sensor cooking functionality. As the name suggests you will have the convection and microwave functionalities in one oven, as well as Combi.

There aren’t many customer reviews out yet but is one of the best selling hot new release convection microwaves on Amazon.com. It has a smart digital control panel with a blue LED-backlit display, along with a variety of options that help make it easy to operate. You can choose one of the Microwave, Convection or Combi options, auto bake, auto roast, popcorn, sensor cook, sensor reheat, favorite, auto defrost, time defrost, warm hold, more and less, and one-touch start at 100, 170, 250, 275, 300, 325, 350, 375, 400 and 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

It is particularly nice to have the automatic menu for baking, roasting and defrosting. Less and More buttons are for decreasing and increasing the cooking time. Then you have the Timer/Clock, Power/Level, Start/+30sec., Stop/Cancel buttons. Toshiba EC042A5C-SS looks very sleek and modern with a black sleek stainless steel finish, weighs 27.3 pounds and measures 21.7L x 21.4W x 12.8H inches. And the stainless steel interior is easy to clean when you need to. With the preset sensor menu, you will be able to heat common foods like vegetables, potatoes and pizza and others at the optimal temperatures.

The heat inside will be distributed evenly thanks to all stainless steel interior. The microwave heats the liquids and solid foods very quickly and evenly. You can manually set it for up to three favorite power and time settings for quick access when you need them. There is an interior LED light for you to observe the cooking process without having to open the lid. It offers a great deal of versatility in a single appliance by letting you microwave quickly or use the traditional convection oven function without turning on the large oven. You will need at least three inches of clearance between the oven and the walls and twelve inches above, and please do not take out the legs underneath it. The user manual can be a little hard to understand for some and the buttons are not illuminated on the panel. Otherwise, the stainless steel Toshiba Oven is easy on the eyes with a modern design, is fairly lightweight and compact, offers different user-friendly functions, and does the job well.
