It can hold a maximum of 18 Bordeaux style bottles in its dual temperature zones for the optimal storage conditions of your red and white bottles and champagne. The top section temperature can be conveniently adjusted between 54 and 66 degrees Fahrenheit for your reds and the bottom section between 46 and 66 degrees for your whites.
It is a thermoelectric type CFC-free wine cooler without a noisy compressor and with energy efficiency and virtually silent cooling technology. If you need to use larger or weird shaped bottles the total capacity may be reduced. 18 bottle capacity is for Bordeaux type bottles and you may want to remove a shelf or two for larger bottles. This way the labels will not get scraped on the bigger bottles. It has 7 pull-out chrome shelves to give you a bit of flexibility for these bottles.
The Wine Enthusiast 18-bottle Cooler weighs 36 pounds and measures 37.5H x 9.87W x 20.25D inches including the hinge. There is a convenient digital LED-backlit touch display in the middle on the outside to adjust the temperatures and to turn the light on or off. It is a free standing or standalone design wine cooler that can’t be used as a built-in to cabinetry or under a counter. And it is best you do not use it in an enclosed area. There won’t be much heat generated through the rear of the fridge but still needs plenty of ventilation around it.
You can expect the optimal storage conditions, temperature and taste from this slimline upright double zone wine cooler. You can adjust the temp in each zone very easily. The top section will accommodate ten bottles and the bottom will have eight regular Bordeaux type bottles. There is also no lock on the door or a way to put a lock, if you need a cooler with one. The black metal wine cooler has a sleek and modern 
design with a reflective smoked glass on the door and the stainless steel rim around it. You can put it in the narrow spaces like the corners in your kitchen or living room and it runs so quietly and will not disturb your conversation. It is not super whisper quiet but not noticeable at all if in the same room.
Please note that the door is not reversible on this model cooler and can only open to the right. They haven’t put a hole pattern on the left, but on the right only. There is a vertical bottle shelf where you can stand bottles up to 14 inches tall. You will get the shelves included for all horizontal storage. So it is up to you if you want to keep the configuration in the photos of 3 vertical and 4 horizontal or put the racks for all horizontal storage. As an ETL approved wine fridge cooler it is perfectly safe to use. But it is best that you check out the user manual before plugging it in and starting to use it. Wine Enthusiast is a well known brand of roughly three and a half decades.
